Angie Nordby
Angie has been a licensed hairstylist since 2009 and is the founder of Ardor Salon. Drawn early to structure and design, she once envisioned a career in architecture before discovering hair as a medium that blends technical precision with creativity. What began unexpectedly evolved into a purpose driven career rooted in thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and real world wearability.
Angie is known for her precision haircuts, platinum transformations, and her signature approach to low-maintenance, lived-in color. She developed a customized technique she refers to as no-maintenance lived-in color, designed to create dimensional results that hold their shape, age gracefully, and fit seamlessly into real life. Her work blends strong technical foundations with an intuitive understanding of how clients want to wear and maintain their hair.
Education has always been central to Angie’s career. She has trained with leading educators around the world and continues to invest in advanced learning while also teaching cutting and color techniques to other professionals. Her work has earned industry recognition, including multiple Top 100 Platinum Artist honors and a Top 5 Global Finalist placement in Behind the Chair’s One Shot Hair Awards for editorial work.
In her chair, clients can expect a calm, collaborative experience rooted in honesty and trust. Angie takes time to explain the process, set clear expectations, and guide each guest toward results that feel elevated, wearable, and aligned with their lifestyle. Her goal is for every appointment to feel thoughtful, unrushed, and entirely focused on you.
Outside of the salon, Angie spends her time snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking with her dogs, Skadi and Vidi. She also loves traveling both solo and with her partner and close friends and finds constant inspiration in exploring new places.
